Terms and Conditions for Pune Car Carrier

Welcome to Pune Car Carrier. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the provision of vehicle transportation services by Pune Car Carrier (“we,” “us,” or “our”) to you (“Client,” “you,” or “your”). Our official website is www.punecarcarrier.in. By engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Services Offered

Pune Car Carrier provides professional vehicle transportation services, including but not limited to, the pick-up, transit, and delivery of cars and other vehicles within and to various destinations as agreed upon.

2. Booking and Confirmation

  • Service Request: All service requests must be made through our designated channels (e.g., website, phone, in-person).
  • Quotation: Upon receiving your request, we will provide a quotation based on the information provided by you (vehicle type, origin, destination, required service date, etc.). This quotation is an estimate and may be subject to change based on actual conditions or additional services requested.
  • Booking Confirmation: A booking is confirmed only upon your acceptance of our quotation and, where applicable, the payment of an advance or full amount as agreed.

3. Client Responsibilities


    • Accuracy of Information: You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information regarding the vehicle (make, model, registration number, color, mileage pickup, chassis number, engine number, fuel type, etc.)
    • Vehicle Preparation:
      • The vehicle must be in good running condition unless otherwise agreed upon for non-running vehicle transport.
      • You must remove all personal belongings and valuables from the vehicle prior to transportation. We are not liable for any loss or damage to personal items left inside the vehicle.
      • Ensure the fuel tank is not full; generally, a quarter tank is sufficient for loading and unloading.
      • Secure or remove any loose parts or accessories from the vehicle exterior.
    • Documentation: You must provide all necessary original or copy documents as requested, including but not limited to:

        • Registration Book 

       

        • Insurance Papers 

       

        • Tax Papers 

       

      • P.U.C./Emission Certificate 
      • Any other required permits or documents.

      You acknowledge that we are not responsible for any delays or issues arising from incomplete or incorrect documentation.

    • Accessibility: Ensure the pick-up and delivery locations are accessible for our transport vehicles. Any additional costs incurred due to inaccessible locations will be borne by the Client.
    • Inspection at Handover/Delivery: You (or your authorized representative) must be present during the vehicle inspection at both pick-up and delivery. You are required to carefully check and confirm the car’s condition, including any existing scratches (S), dents (D) , rust (R) , loose parts (L) [cite: 40], missing (M)  items, or paint peeled off (P), as noted on the Car Condition Report. Any discrepancies must be noted on the report at the time of handover or receipt.

 

  • Acknowledgement of Receipt: By signing the “Received car in good condition alongwith the accessories mentioned above Yes/No”  and “Received car documents original/copies Yes/No”, you acknowledge the satisfactory receipt of the vehicle and documents.

4. Our Responsibilities

    • Professional Transport: We will transport your vehicle with due care and professionalism using appropriate carriers.

 

    • Car Condition Report: We will prepare a detailed Car Condition Report at the time of pick-up, noting the existing condition of the vehicle, including any defects[cite: 12].

 

  • Transit Insurance: While cars are covered for Transit insurance, it excludes minor scratches, electrical & mechanical defects including non-functionality of any electronic / electrical or mechanical equipment inside such as AC, speakers, horns, headlights / tail lights, central locks etc., charging the battery and fuelling of the vehicle.
  • Communication: We will endeavor to keep you informed of the vehicle’s transit status.

5. Charges and Payment

  • Payment Terms: Payment terms will be as agreed upon at the time of booking. This may include advance payment and balance payment upon delivery.
  • Additional Charges: Any additional services requested by you, or unforeseen circumstances requiring extra effort (e.g., inaccessible locations, re-delivery attempts, storage charges due to delayed pick-up), may incur additional charges.
  • Non-Payment: In case of non-payment of agreed charges, we reserve the right to hold the vehicle until full payment is received. Storage charges may apply.

6. Liability and Claims


    • No Liability for Electrical/Mechanical Defects: Please note no liability exists for electrical and mechanical defects without visual indication of external damage.

 

  • Exclusions from Transit Insurance: As stated above, transit insurance excludes minor scratches, electrical & mechanical defects including non-functionality of any electronic / electrical or mechanical equipment inside such as AC, speakers, horns, headlights / tail lights, central locks etc., charging the battery and fuelling of the vehicle.
  • Damage Claims: Any claim for damage must be reported to our delivery personnel and noted on the Car Condition Report at the time of delivery. Claims not noted at the time of delivery may not be entertained.
  • Force Majeure: We shall not be liable for any delay or failure in performance resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, terrorism, riots, embargoes, acts of civil or military authorities, fire, floods, accidents, strikes, or shortages of transportation facilities, fuel, energy, labor, or materials.

7. Cancellation and Refunds

  • Cancellation by Client: If you cancel a confirmed booking, cancellation charges may apply based on the timing of the cancellation relative to the scheduled pick-up date.
  • Cancellation by Pune Car Carrier: In unforeseen circumstances, we may need to cancel a booking. In such cases, we will offer an alternative date or a full refund of any advance payment received.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Pimpri-Chinchwad, Maharashtra, India.

9. Amendments to Terms

We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. The updated Terms will be effective upon posting on our website or providing notice to you. Your continued use of our services after such amendments constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
